Introduction:

Many people get into the practice of Yoga without knowing much about the philosophy behind the practice. I was the same way. I initially got into Yoga because it made my body feel good. There are many physical benefits of Yoga, however there are even more mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits once we gain a better understanding of Yoga philosophy. In this workshop, we explore the 8 petals of Yoga, as well as how to relate to them and integrate them into daily living.


Workshop Overview:

This workshop will begin with a check-in, so we can determine how deeply everyone has delved into Yoga philosophy, as well as how to best target the discussion. We will go over each 1 of the 8 petals, spending more time on the foundational petals. For each of the petals, I will give you practical tips on how to integrate the wisdom into daily living. Finally, we will have a Q & A to close the session.
